Jump down and onto the moss-covered rock jutting out of the wall. You’re looking for a small ledge covered in moss. Look toward the dam and then look down into the rocks under you. This is the trickiest part of the mission, so we’re going to break it down step by step. Follow the path again until you walk outside. Hug the right wall to find a thin path through the brick - if you reach the laptop and chair you’ve gone too far. Follow the path through the brick walls until you reach a room with a chair and closed laptop at the end. Walk forward and into the fireplace tunnel. Once you start the mission, you’ll get an objective: Hunt the Emissaries. Step 1: Hunt the Emissaries Weasel your way into the walls and follow the path Image: Bungie via Polygon It’s also solo-able, but is much easier in a Fireteam of three. Note that this mission is pretty tough, so make sure you have your best gear on. Once the fireplace is open, walk inside and interact with the little box to start the mission. If the fireplace has brick over the opening (meaning you’re the first one here), use Hawkmoon to shoot the brick inside the fireplace until it explodes - you’ll know it’s working if you see the brick flash. Jump up into the opening of the second floor and walk forward. Run forward, past the church, and into the half-broken building. Here’s how to find the Harbinger mission and complete it. Note that you’ll need Hawkmoon to even access the missions, so go grab that before going any further. In mid-January, Bungie launched a secret mission called Harbinger, which not only gives players random rolls of Hawkmoon, but also offers its Catalyst. But Hawkmoon was incomplete, thanks to its Random Rolls trait. Make sure you rest up at their village to save your location.In early December, Bungie dropped the Hawkmoon quest for Destiny 2 players as part of Season of the Hunt. If the mischievous nature of the three cats doesn’t tip you off, you’re in for a rough go, despite the quest’s level requirement. There you’ll be given a quest to check out a cave for the secret to the golden chests in Cat Quest. Directly South of the town, and across the water, is the island that has the quest you want. Once you have Water Walking, head South back down to the starting village. Make sure you’ve completed the quests in Pawt City before going to Founder’s Island.īy now you should be around level 20-30, though the higher level you are the easier a time you will have (but it’s still doable at 20-30). NOTE: It’s possible that if you get water walking, but don’t complete the quest for it before going to the island, and you take the quest found there, you’ll lose water walking and get stuck there. The quest chain to get Water Walking can be found in Pawt City (pictured below), which is in the far North West of the map. Water Walking is a skill you will be prompted to get after you have defeated the second dragon, as part of the main quest. There is one thing you must have before getting the quest for the golden key: Water Walking.

Golden chests in Cat Quest contain a separate pool of gear than what you get in normal chests. You’re also probably aware that, aside from Kit’s very expensive golden chests, they cannot be opened by your bare paws (or your cat paws for that matter). If you’re reading this guide, then by now you’ve probably seen the golden chests found in both Kit Cat’s shop and within most dungeons.
